Rising Kindergarten – 2nd graders

July 19th-23rd 1:30-4:00 

(2.5 hours daily) 5 day camp: $500 week: all inclusive

6 to 1 ratio- (max. 12)

No lunch but healthy snack included @ 2:00

Areas to cover: (not limited to but starting with)

• Basic pre-reading/reading review + 30 minutes individual or small group

• Math review + 30 minutes individual or small group

• Introduction/ refresher on math facts, money, time & calendar concepts

• Sight word review & fluency drills/games

• Writing practice- HWT & basic sentence

(school specific options available: ACA, Galloway, HIES, Lovett)

2021 dates open to groups of 5 or more students(please email choice dates)

8 to 1 ratio- maximum number in class 8

Areas to cover: (not limited to but starting with)

• Advanced reading comprehension strategies/ review

• Annotating skills: chapter by chapter on summer reading books

• Study,Organization & Test Taking skills

• Refresher on Everyday Math- 5th grade concepts

• Introduction of new concepts of Everyday Math - 6th grade concepts (Lovett)

• Introduction to new Math curriculum for 6th grade (Galloway)

• Literature study- mandatory summer reading

• Writing practice- 5 paragraph narrative & informational writing             

~All curriculums for camps will be determined once enrollment is set.

~ Registration forms and a non-refundable $200 deposit: Due upon registration. Camps are subject to cancellation if less than 5 registered.

~Remaining balance is due on the first day of camp.
