Policies and Pricing

Prices: 

Now open for in person sessions at Smyrna & Buckhead locations

**All sessions are offered in person again with COVID protocols in place. Virtual still available via zoom &/or FaceTime.**

Individual tutoring: * price change Dec. 2021*

$90 for 45 minute sessions

$125 for 60 minutes sessions

The last 5 minutes of each session includes parents questions and feedback, if desired.

Billing:

Billing will be either be prepayments biweekly/monthly or payment is due at the end of each session via check made payable to Stephanie Scalise or VENMO Stephanie-Scalise-1. Services may no longer be provided if payment is not received within 24 hours of services rendered. Individual exceptions available, please contact Stephanie.

Group Sessions: 

Group Sessions are available at various times throughout the year. They range from SSAT Prep to Back-to-School Summer Camps. Check back for prices as sessions become available. 

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation by client: 

  • 1st cancellation: no charge if cancellation is received 24 hours prior to scheduled session.

  • Additional cancellations (up to 3) with 24 hour notice will be billed at 50%, unless a make-up session is possible and mutually agreed upon.

  • Subsequent cancellations without 24 hour notice are billed at 100% and you risk forfeiture of your time slot and/ or termination of your contract.

Cancellation by SS Educational Specialists tutors: 

  • Parent & student (if possible) will be contacted via text and email if an emergency arises that session must be cancelled.

  • If the session was pre-paid, the tutor will reschedule the session at a mutually agreeable time or a refund/credit will be applied to your account.

Exceptions to 24 hour cancellation policy: 

  • The student may cancel session if tutorial time is needed with classroom teacher for extra support and/ or completing a test/group assignment.

  • The student/parent may cancel session if student becomes ill during the school day.

  • The student/parent may cancel afternoon session if sports schedule changes due to weather and/or if a last minute group tutorials is scheduled.

Monday- Thursday 12:00-7:30pm

Fridays 8:00-9:00, 12:00- 4:30

Saturdays & Sundays 9:00 - 12:30

8:30-4:00 Monday, Wednesday, Friday (summer)

10:00-4:00 Tuesday, Thursday (summer)

9:00 - 12:00 Saturdays (summer)

All sessions are booked on a first-come-first-served basis & school year appointments are scheduled for a weekly meeting time.
